'cold brew buddy system' is a conceptual specialty cold brew brand created to explore character-led packaging illustration in a saturated beverage market. The goal was to design a cohesive cast of mascots that visually communicate flavor intensity and personality - turning each bottle into an expressive character rather than a static product label. Instead of relying on minimal café aesthetics, the project leans into bold colour, humour, and exaggerated forms to make the brand feel energetic and emotionally engaging.

Each beverage was translated into a distinct illustrated personality:

Oops! All Caffeine - an overhyped coffee spill vibrating with chaotic energy.

Petal to the Metal - a biker flower representing bold, unapologetic strength.

Cloud Nine Cold Brew - a soft caramel cappucino cloud gently raining nine coffee beans.

Sun’s Out, Sips Out - a radiant sun character embodying plant-powered brightness.

The system balances playful character design with clear flavor distinction, proving how illustration can serve as the primary storytelling device in packaging.
